WASHINGTON, D.C. - Reginald Maultsby, 80, passed recently in Washington, D.C. He. was born in 1942 in Whiteville, N.C. and graduated from J.H. Hayswood High school, he entered the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a firefighter at the Howard Air Force Base, Panama Canal zone. Upon his return from military duties, Maultsby was employed as a claims adjuster with the Metropolitan Washington Transit Authority in the District of Columbia, where he served 30 years. Maultsby was a member of the Warren Masonic Lodge #8 PHA, where he ascended to the position of Worshipful Master in 1989, He served as Worthy Patron to Queen of Sheba #2 for several years, was Past Potentate in the Shriners Mecca Temple #10 in Washington D.C., and traveled annually to Shriners conventions across the United States. He was an active member of the Redstone-Hayswood Alumni Association. Funeral Services were held November 22, 2022, at Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs, Temple Hills, Maryland.
