Maria Dorantes Carrera

Maria Dorantes Carrera also known as Sara Rangel was born in Oaxaca, Mexico on February 9, 1972 and departed her earthly journey on January 17, 2023 as a result of an auto accident. She was a faithful employee of Smithfield Industries for over 22 years and was loved by many of her peers, and also was an avid gardener with a green thumb and a wonderful cook that brought life to her food. Maria is survived by her daughter, Mariana Dorantes, her sons, Borislav Dorantes, and Joshua Dorantes, her grandchildren, William and Cameron Lozano. Funeral mass will be held on Monday January 23, 2023 at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 301 Mercer Avenue, Red Springs, North Carolina. Arrangements by McMillan Funeral Home of Lumberton, North Carolina.
