Gracie McMillan Thomas

Gracie McMillan Thomas, 96, of East 14th Street in Lumberton, North Carolina passed on Friday morning October 21, 2022 at UNC- Health Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, N.C. She was born on April 10, 1926, to the late Dennie Mile McMillan and Mary Agnes Chambers McMillan. She was the oldest living graduate of the historic Redstone Academy at the time of her passing, and  she was an active member in numerous positions at Bethany Presbyterian Church, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1p.m. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Jackson of Lumberton; two sons, John Thomas (Patricia) of Wilmington, and Lawrence Thomas (Yvonne) of Durham; two brothers, Fred McMillan of Fayetteville, and Robert McMillan of Laurinburg; and four grandchildren.
