Esther Belle (Ledbetter) Sanders

Mrs. Esther Sanders of Lumberton, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday morning. She was a native of Lake Lure, N.C. and was the widow of the late Boyce Sanders. Mrs. Sanders was a retired educator in the public school system of Robeson County and was active in numerous civic and community affairs. She held membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and was a member of Sandy Grove Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Dr. in Lumberton, N.C. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Grove Baptist Church in Lumberton, N.C. Interment will be in the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake Lure, N.C. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday morning at the church from 10a.m.-11a.m. and other times at the residence of her son, Eric Sanders.
