Connell Williams, Sr. a native of Red Springs, North Carolina transitioned Monday April 10, 2023 at Future Care-Homewood in Baltimore, Maryland. Connell was born to the late Thomas and Martha Ann Sinclair Williams-Brown on June 6, 1945, in Robeson County, North Carolina. Connell joined Mack’s Chapel at an early age. After graduating from Peterson High School, he began his work career at Burlington Manufacturing in Raeford, North Carolina and then moved to Maryland and begin a long career at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, Maryland. After Retirement, Connell enjoyed going on fishing trips and working on cars. Connell was preceded in death by one sister Ida Mae Patterson, one brother Clifford Williams. Connell leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Sandra Johnson, Lumberton, NC. Four sons Timothy McLaurin and Connell Williams, Jr, Red Springs, NC, Delemon Williams, Hope Mills, NC and Shawn Williams, Baltimore, MD. One sister Remal Crawford, Red Springs, NC. Three brothers Aaron Williams(Alberta), Fayetteville, NC, Marvin Williams, Red Springs, and Thomas Williams, Jr. Richmond,Va. Seventeen grandchildren Janiqua, Shyne, Brandi, Shakarra, Timothy, Malik, Deja, Armannia, Shaunira, Satin, Miracle, Justice, Zemartise, Sanaa, Ashtyn Timothy, Jr. and Sakaria. Nine great-grandchildren Malik, Jr., Malia Ja’Nya, Khloe, Brailey, Brayden, Phoenix, Jada and Nyla, and a devoted nephew Thomas Felton Williams. Funeral service will be Sunday April 16, 2023 3 p.m. at Panthersford Presbyterian Church and interment will be at Mack's Chapel Cemetery in Red Springs, North Carolina.
