Alice Faye Surratt Slate passed Friday at her residence in Dillon, South Carolina. She was a native of Virginia and a former hosiery mill employee and the mother of Richard Surratt of Dillon, South Carolina, Patricia Knowles of Virginia, and Ricky Surratt of Mt. Airy, North Carolina.
