Horris Stefan Brice age 63 of St. Pauls, North Carolina transitioned Nov. 30, 2023 in Lumberton, NC. He was the son of the late Eugene M Brice and Sallie Mae McNeill Brice. Among his survivors are one sister Rhona Brice Baisden of New Jersey, Three brothers, Jasper Brice of New Jersey, Darcey Brice of St. Pauls and Shawn Brice of St. Pauls. Milagros Josefina Nahamens age 76 of Fayetteville, N.C transitioned recently in Fayetteville, N.C. She was the mother of Monica Gloumeau of Fayetteville, Daniel Gloumeau and Paul A. Gloumeau, both of Florida. Funeral arrangements are being handled by McMillan Funeral Home.    

Kierra LaShay Bell also known as Kiki age 29 passed recently in Lumberton, N.C. She was a graduate of Lumberton High School, attended Robeson Community College, and was a descendent of the Blount and Bell family of Lumberton. Mrs. Esther Sanders of Lumberton, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday morning. She was a native of Lake Lure, N.C. and was the widow of the late Boyce Sanders. Mrs. Sanders was a retired educator in the public school system of Robeson County and was active in numerous civic and community affairs. Ms. Lee Ella Bobbitt was a native of St. Paul's, N.C. and died recently at Duke Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Union Baptist Church in Durham, N.C. Interment was in The Markham Memorial Cemetery. 

Ella Verlene Nealy age 88 passed away peacefully on October 20, 2023 in Newport News, Virginia with her family by her side. Mrs. Nealy was born on September 26, 1935 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late William "Bud" Henry Norris and Carrie Lee Buie-Norris who she has joined in eternal rest. He was a native of Virginia and a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.
